Linda and I are out of state to visit our first grandchild. Unlike our three children, all of whom were born into our home on Barnard Street, grandson William's home is in Austin, Texas.

Here we are with him during our Thanksgiving visit when he was just over a week old. He was early and weighed only six pounds then. Such a little peanut. We expect he will be half again as big now and are eager to discuss politics with him.

We plan to return in about a week. See you next year.
